• Raw Tai Chi

...are you ready to go beyond form ?

...to learn Tai Chi Chuan as a traditional martial art - mind, body, and spirit?

We call our system 'Raw' Tai Chi because it's back to basics....building layers of awareness, understanding and ability. You won't find musical forms, or a belief in the 'only way' or 'one true master'.

You will find students working to 'feel the difference' in themselves, to understand and develop their mind and body through practice. Come and join us.

Kevin has taught, and practiced, Tai Chi as a martial art for over 35 years. Exploring different styles and teachers on his own learning journey.

Raw Tai Chi is the essence of Kevin's learnings, with a mix of traditional (mostly Yang), and innovative practices. Kevin's style is soft and straightforward, with occasional silliness.

This complete approach to Tai Chi links  Breathing exercises with Qigong including ChanSiGong (reeling silk), with 2-person being an essential component for realising tension and holding a balanced posture
